in windows click start then right click computer then properties:D
and for graphics card click start "run" then type dxdiag to bring up gpu specs:D:D

yes, what is the linux equivelent to finding your computers specs the easy way, i know doing "sudo lshw -html > your-file-name.html" will create an html page with your specs, but i dont know where that page is saved to

HAVENT TRIED THIS OUT: sensors (for displaying heat and fan info)
sudo apt-get install lm-sensors

disks:
sudo apt-get install disk utility

(i will give more info when i find it)
