Normally, Kirby's SoundTrack becomes kind of relaxing and good to play (Specially Return to Dreamland Ones), some tracks become kind of wonderful in the night, to give a good ambience.
But you also can search for open music (with CC-BY related licenses) you always can find something good!

I mean actually music of the stages of Kirby return to dreamland, but everything depends in your tastes, for me Nutty Noon 2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6YTfPZSg3Y) is great :D. And old chiptune tracks likely Castle Lololo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQzzKb6Wmks).

There was some dude called libervurto making great mining music that i would include in a game: https://soundcloud.com/libervurto/wandering

your soundcloud link allowed me to finally find a lost music track that i was searching for a long time.
a long time ago it was up for discussion to be added to the Battle for Wesnoth, but was not used eventually.
then i lost it and never found it again...
...until today :3

here it is: City of Dwarves - https://soundcloud.com/xterminal86/city-of-dwarves

I find that dark ambient, gothic ethereal, and shoegazer music (artists like Delerium, Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Soulwhirlingsomewhere, Cocteau Twins, Lycia, etc.) inspires me the most when building in Minetest. Maikerumine also got me turned onto vaporwave, which I sometimes delve into, but usually more for playing than building :)

when you become one with your build... - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiiHfOAG2Hk
"Here we are
Riding the sky
Painting the night with sun
You and I, mirrors of light
Twin flames of fire
Lit in another time and place

I knew your name
I knew your face
Your love and grace
Past and present now embrace
Worlds collide in inner space
Unstoppable, the song we play
"

also a new song for making plans - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vCxBQy2SOk
imagine a feather scratching over a bunch of pergaments, drawing thin lines of ink...

I usually turn on "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", then let the autoplay carry me along. This usually goes on to "21 Guns", "Wake me up when September ends", "Time of your life", "Hey brother", and so on

Maybe if you check out some blueprints and use them as a guide you can do your building better.
