I guess for new users they have to hit the Skip button at the bottom of the page to proceed to your image. I was a little bit confused by the cool little bar in Yambol Bulgaria I first saw instead.

I like the way you decorated the junction. My only criticism is that it makes me wish the camera was set in the centre of the room so I can see down the hallways.

I'd love to see some server towns done in this manner.

Forgot to warn about that performance test. Sorry.
And thanks for response.

This is from a mod I work on, the nodes have been hand-built. Watch the mod forums closely for “colorcubes” in the near future.

The light looks fantastic, textures too.

"Downsides of this table is that currently, moonlight is too dark."
In my opinion this is actually a good thing. The current night is much to bright.

I've been experimenting with a size-unlimited version of flolands / indev core floatlands / floatindev

An idea came to me suddenly last night, i realised how to make unlimited tunnels using 2 3D noises. Mapgen v6 tunnels tend to be short and get cut off at chunk borders. By adding a third 3D noise i can create tunnel intersections.

Nice one. I tried the same with 2x 2D-noises because 3D is a bit slow. It ended up with tiny, v6-like caves.

A new mapgen experiment to create huge underground caverns:

Still quite a ways to go, but development should start going fast.

Try placing lava about the place. That can work.
