FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

I've decided, a bit last minute, to stream Minetest tonight! I've been putting together my own personal subgame/Minetest experience, and will likely be tweaking it on stream as well. I figured I'd drop a post here in case anyone wanted to come hang out and watch. :-)

So, the stream went well. I was able to expose a few people to the game, and some of them even showed interest in trying it out! I hope they do. :-) I'd love the see the game grow!

The shadows are caused by moretrees.

Can you use youtube for streams???

Twitch is more for Streams alike, Youtube is more for "ready" and "finished" videos. You enter to Youtube to see videos, not generally streams...

Kosmos: I used to make YouTube videos, but I stopped long ago. I prefer Twitch these days. :-)

red-001: Thanks for that. I wonder if I can remove or lessen the shadows without removing the trees or the whole mod. I'll find out!

Are you planning to stream minetest on twitch again in the near future?

No plans at the moment. My schedule is Minecraft on Monday nights and "whatever" on Wednesday nights. I recently finished up my first run of Factorio, so I'll be starting a new game this Wednesday, but it won't be Minetest. If I do any more unplanned, surprise streams, Minetest is definitely on the table. If I ever add another day to the schedule proper, Minetest is a possibility for that time slot, though.
