Hi all,

I have read this post to enable the fly priviledge viewtopic.php?id=8187

I tried pressing "/" to issue a command and then I typed grant singleplayer all the pressed enter. Nothing happened. I still cannot fly. why is this?

It's working now. Just for reference, I typed 'grant singleplayer fly' and it works.

Weird. “grant singleplayer all” should definitely work. If not, then it's probably a bug. But there MUST be a slash at the beginning. It's already typed in if you pressed “/”.
Also, you not only need the fly privilege, you also must activate fly mode with the K key, after you got the fly privilege. The privilege is only used to allow you to use the fly mode. This has been done this way so you can toggle flying while keeping your fly privilege.

Hint: Since Minetest 0.4.15, there is also a command called “grantme” which is shorter. It can be used to grant yourself a privilege, e.g. “grantme all” or “grantme fly”.
