FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Trying to find my save files on linux. I'm running the lubuntu OS on a USB drive with no hard drive, so I need to save any world data, player data and settings online, then download them again after a fresh install of minetest (version 0.4.14). Tried searching through three different folders named 'minetest' but didn't see anything promising yet.
