I am challenging people to make AMAZING, clear, and crisp sounds. Also it would be nice if people could make 3-4 sounds for each sound type. What kind of sounds you ask?
-Stone: A nice deep, rich, bass-y sound. Maybe knocking on a solid piece of wood or soft stone?
-Wood: Same as stone, only a little hollow sounding.
-Sand: The sound of sand. Maybe you could pour it into a plate on top of other sand in this one?
-Dirt: A crunchy, rich sound. Maybe a bag of chips or peas could be used for this?
-Glass: A rich, crispy sound of glass shattering.
-Wool: A plush sound. Maybe use a pillow and fluff it?

Best ones make it into minetest-ultra.

And I know about the ones that are already made.

alright here is the beginning :D just some setting sounds but there very nice and i spent alot of time to get them perfect, all 100% made by me. will update this post tomorrow to include about ten more that are not finished yet.enjoy ^^ just filmed myself with my iphone making the noises and ran it throw AOA audio extrator (free edition) then edited with Audacity, if anyone wonted to know:D Audacity can even convert to .ogg vorbos file^_^

EDIT:these are not loud enough ill edit them and post more like i said tomorrow.
2nd EDIT: got these done faster then i thought sorry it wasnt loud enough could test myself atm
its fixed now.
