I was digging deep under ground until i found a rat and folowed him then i killed him and I saw a rainbow but very faint so i crafted a torch and placed it. And to my sirprize I found 5 RAINBOW BRICKS!!!!!! To bad it lasted only for a second cuz then one of those big red guys came and killed me(also suprised the heck outa me) and I havent been able to loc8 the bricks ever scince. I dont expect you to try to help me to findem but at least tell me if youve seen them thanx i wana no if im da only one. :)

! what version are you using i havent seen nyan cats in a long time much less their rainbows

The textures are still kicking around in the sources. I'm guessing you can take a look at the source to see how common it is.

:P Nyan cat blocks are the rarest in the intire game, though here's a rumour the's one in Kray's server:

they have a few of them on gameboom's server although you will have to find them....there is a trick to it in some file (i think .conf) where you make stone invisible and its very easy to find one like that but i have no clue how lol

look at nyansearch engine writed by Xyz two or three weeks ago, it need mapseed for search all nyancats at map.
P.S. I not try since it published, maybe spawn algorithm was changed

Well nyan cats or rainbows are Included in the game try checking your data or alternative Folder There must be a nyan cat or rainbow PNG or JPEG or BIP file but im afraid i have not encountered one of them ..

If anyone see them again please make a video of it and upload it to youtube and post the Link Here TNX!

these are the parts of the Nyan cat or rainbow

These serve as easter eggs on MINETEST because its suuuper rare

Mostly It will be Found On Caves The deeper ones i have a feeling that it can be found there but everytime you dig too deeper
you will encounter The giant Unknown creature that spits or throws Fireballs..

Actually, I once found one on my mega city build server.

They aren't generated in the latest 0.4 map generation. You can still find these if you're playing 0.3.1 (land generated prior to 0.4).

So, I could try and add this to the mapgen, but, I doubt that would spawn as they did before.

Actually you could easily fin them at The Highest peak of the minetest then dig a deep hole then it should appear Shortly...
