FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Hello friends.

I have been trying to compile Minetest in Windows with no luck, I downloaded MinGW from a recommendation by MiJyn(from IRC) but following the guide I get stuck and can't proceed.

I was following this guide: http://www.mingw.org/wiki/MinGW_for_First_Time_Users_HOWTO
But got stuck on the second part. Can someone who knows how to do this stuff help me? Thank you.

Thanks I would like to suggest to our moderators to include a sticky for that post or a new section full of such guide posts. Would really help us and remove the need for posts like mine.
