Minetest needs publicity. I have a whole bunch of friends who have windows and can't play minecraft so I told them about minetest and they loved it. Think of all the other people who have windows and want to play but can't.

Why can't they play because they're on Windows?

IF I MADE A NSIS INSTALLER WHICH ALSO INSTALLS THE REQUIRED STUFF, SUCH AS OPENGL AND MSCVRT.DLL: WINDOWS MAY ACTUALLY GET A CHANCE.

That would be awesome! I can't play Minecraft either, and it might be because of lack of these .dll files. If someone could create an installer or something like that, I would be so THANKFUL!
But I will still play Minetest (of course!)!

Why are you using CAPS LOCK?

Most people do. You need to explain what Minetest differs from Minecraft (better performance, nice modding api)

My mine craft account has the bad video card drivers error. If you could fix that.... I would play minetest for awesome servers and building freely and mine craft for survival (cause of the better mobs. The best of both worlds.

Thats why I play Minecraft on my mothers laptop.

i have a video explaining every detail. includes mc out of memory. just to show. its not done, but that could change soon.

EDIT:

I contacted my minecraft friends and told them about Minetest. They tried it, called absolute shit, but one of them like open source, so not was all lost. If Minecraft fanboys can't find a better thing to do - I once found a comment on YouTube where a XBOX user did a serious flame against them on Fortress Craft.

I still like Minetest better because it's much more fun building on MT than on MC, because the GREAT COMMUNITY, and (of course) because it actually works on my computer.
And while I'm still on the subject, I would like to say thanks to Celeron55 and all the incredible modders out there! YOU ROCK!
