FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

A friend of mine's just heard rumor about a new item coming up in a future update.
Apparently there's gonna be some kinda harpoon thing that pulls enemies toward you and pulls you to walls etc.
Sounds great to me, hope they add it soon... That could be really useful.

There was an old topic about a grappling hook, but I have no idea what happened to it.
