When i play in singleplayer its slower than onliine?

and how do you write a mod or texture

texture is simple, just have to get the title of the image right.

mods...well just crack open a init from a mod and youll get the idea.

Single player is emulated by multiplayer. Therefore it should be similar to running both a client and a server.

It does, but the "singleplayer" mode prevents anyone from connecting, you have to start a server using the "advanced" tab, then put an empty address there.

Just open up Task Manager and change the priority to High or above normal.

Actually, it puts the port onto 30011/30012.
