Minetest (sometimes called Minetest-c55) reverse that Minetest-c55 is the official name of the game.
Edit: and the section on mesecons is almost completely incorrect the ingame material is MESE not mesecons and mesecons is not included into the default game last i checked :P
Edit2: also there appears to be no distinction in the page about the difference between 0.4 and 0.3 stable both of which are now quite different from each other.

Will be adding a new section: development, which will talk about it

There are some wikipedians that want more citations in the article.
So if someone has a link to a review (not a video) that describes the gameplay or other things that are mentioned in the article you can post them here and we will add more citations to the article.

I have an idea. On the wikipedia page there could be a video about how to play Minetest properly. This would certainly help some new players.

Google "ecyclopedia with video" :-)
edit: "ecycopedia with video" works too (first thing I tried)

Wikipedia has numerous short videos scattered around through its articles. They are only sparingly used when text or an animated image isn't enough. Wikipedia isn't a "how-to" site, so an instructional video wouldn't be appropriate.

Nice!
Check out these videos, there is enough spread in there to have something representative of the game IMHO:
http://www.youtube.com/user/313hummer/videos?query=minetestChoose one and put it in the External Links section.
I did this for a song my friend wrote about\for Joseph Kittinger (Ever free-fall from space? He did..) on Joe's page and there haven't been any issues with it:

Its seems like a good article. However the article is 'being considered for deletion'? What?

Deletionists - they think that they're always right, no matter how wrong they are.

Just came to my mind: In germany we have the political party: "Piratenpartei"
https://lqfb.piratenpartei.de/lf/initiative/show/2293.htmlA desicion template for a law to "curb the Wikipedia deletion Nazis"

I'm doing what I can regarding the AfD. Someday, everyone will have their own personal wikis that they will simply exchange knowledge with other personal wikis and the centralized sites such as Wikipedia will be obsolete.
Mark my words.
The 'John F. Lewis' editor has only been registered on Wikipedia since July 28th of this year. I've been registered since 2005 and have been lurking Wikipedia since 2002.
I, for one, think Minetest is very worthy. There are plenty of articles on Wikipedia that almost exactly like the Minetest article and yet, they remain. I believe that a Minetest article on Wikipedia is both pertinent and relevant.

Some days Wikipedia seems to be like
"The sky is blue. {citation needed}"
"Water is wet. {citation needed}"
"Fire is hot. {citation needed}"

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
- Code: Select all
