FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

I'm looking at getting up to speed with your code base and was wondering if there were any good resources on Irrlicht I can use... besides the tuts on their site and the documentation of course?

Possibly a silly questions, what else does one need besides a few tuts and docs, but yeah... suggestions?
