I installed wine to play my Version of Minetest on Ubuntu.
And after i installed a program with wine it stopped working.
How can i fix this?

no problem
have a version in the software center ...
You can also install it through the terminal, as follows:

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.

Code: Select all: sudo apt-get install minetest

will ask the user key and confirm the installation ...

if you want the current stable version visit this link, which will explain how to add the repository containing that version ...

After installing the repository, and updated, to install is similar to before ...

I am not new to Linux
I want to run my version of minetest
Its only for Windows

PS : i got minetest for linux already

Wine is pretty bad but what i did was select the minetest application with a right click & choose open with wine windows program loader. Iv'e tried many thing's in wine & they do not work

You need to install OpenAL and DirectX in wine

What's the point to run Minetest with Wine when there's already a Linux version ?

Eh. WINE 1.4 runs minetest just fine, thankfully. Still crashes like the native one (throwing mod deaths), but runs.
