Q What Are the Chat Commands for Chat/Chatting

I haven't done much "chat" in my time so I'm pretty much clueless on the subject.

A few, quick, Internet search results have provided long lists of IRC commands.

Do standard IRC commands work in Minetest's chat function or does Minetest have its own set... or none at all?

Is there a command to show a list of who is on the server at the moment?

A breif look through the list shows a command for private chat. Is there a command to expand private chat to a select list of players? If someone outside of that group wants to chat with me is there a command where they can "knock on my door"? The thought is to trim down the information overload and irrelevent background chatter.

Is it possible to have a static file on the chat that can be read by issuing a command? To better explain, a "Locations" file listing the coordinates of places on the server (Mega Castle, SomeTown, Bobs Maze) by typing in something like "/read locations.txt". Or a file of the server's build design preferences, "/read builddesign.txt", (cowboy western, medieval, sky cities only, underground only, sculptures only, build what ever you like, etc.). A list of the server's admins and moderators. These "read" files could only be authored and edited by the server admins.

I'm starting to stray off topic...

So, are there any chat commands built into Minetest for chatting purposes?

Thanks.

To show server info and player list: /status
To show all possible commands: /help
There isn't a private message command but I believe there is a mod for that.

A command to see when a player was last on (the day) and which players are known (perhaps when they first connected) would be nice. And a logfile for the chat. I havn't found out how to do private messages yet. Only normal messages and the /me command are known to me.
