FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

i've been searching for a mod that fixes this problem but i haven't come across it. i dont know if its already been done but is there a way to fix the water in minetest so it doesn't look like it is about to overflow.

You can set "new_style_water = 1" in minetest.conf, but that setting only works for 0.3.x versions or earlier. It's broken for the latest version.
