Go to minetest's installation folder, and find the folder labeled "mods/minetest". Insert mods there

(this should work for packaged versions and compiled versions with RUN_IN_PLACE disabled)
No need to use a file manager with root/sudo to install mods. ;)

Mine doesnt work like that. Its precompiled

Ehm, precompiled is compiled with RUN_IN_PLACE disabled.
