Help with 0.4.4 shaders

every time i play it says error could not load test shader 1 and test shader 2 and then every block is red even if i am on creative and i place a block

Disable shaders in the Settings menu. The shaders doesnt work for Windows and some old GPUs.

Open Minetest go to "Settings" tab in the main menu and disable "Shaders".

IIRC if I have OpenGL selected on my Windows machine, shaders appear to work fine. Is it that they're failing asymptomatically?

my turn :D i don't understand, do they work or not because when i launch game with shaders it looks exactly like without them.

The water is a bit lower and the top sides of the nodes are a bit brighter.

The shaders are only supported by OpenGL as they are GLSL shaders, someone will need to rewrite them in HLSL for them to work with Direct3D
