My software center dosn't seem like the irrichit libraries, but I can't seem to find the problem, could someone PM me a minetest folder with the binaries pre-compiled? I would like to run it from terminal since I "think" the libraries are installed, but can't seem to get it to work.

System:
Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit
All libraries ought to be installed

You want to install Irrlicht with Software Center?

Are the PPAs not current enough for you?
https://code.launchpad.net/~minetestdevs/+archive/stable/
https://code.launchpad.net/~minetestdevs/+archive/daily-builds

BTW-- Use Synaptic (Gnome) or Muon (KDE)

Don't use software center for development libraries.
Use this to install Irrlicht:
sudo apt-get install irrlicht-dev

And input your password when prompted.

...

I already installed the dev libraries. But it still wont let me run/compile any version of minetest.
