I have made a new spleef arena on the Octuteam server.

If there's enough interest, I'll be making tournaments and such.
Currently, it's planned to make team-based or free for all spleef, and capture the flag.
More game modes will be thought of in the future.

For team-based matches, there are two teams: Red and Blue.

Please post here if you want to sign up.

I will schedule the first match when there are enough players (4 at a minimum).

Arena Location: -169, 27, 68

First match: Saturday 2013-01-19 19:00 hours EST

Any and all interested parties (both players and spectators) assemble at the location at the designated date and time.

you could use my mod. it digs the spleef blocks way faster allowing for bigger arenas and it wont dig any materials except spleef blocks. and the spleef blocks go when you click on the block. http://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?id=4406

Chinchow, could you pease specify your timezone? so we could agree on a suitable hour.

okay, so unless anyone has any more objections, there will be a few matches for testing tomorrow at around 8:00 PM EST. Everyone get on the server by then and we will arrange other details.

NOTE: Due to technical problems, the map has been reverted and I'm making the arena again.

The match date & time is still up for discussion, but anybody can come over to the server and play friendly matches.
