Is it possible to make blocks and stuff that you can see through but are not fully transparent? None of the default textures have partially transparent pixels, but I think that might just be because they are hard to make or something. I think I know how, but minetest doesn't work on the computer I'm using now, so I have no way of testing to see if it's possible.

The wielditem texture looks weird with half-transparent pixels, because they arent drawn 3 dimensional. So dont use it for inventory textures.

You can use separate textures for inventory and wield textures, see the "inventory_image" and "wield_image" properties.
