Just a thanks to the community.
So I picked up Minecraft at a friends house today, first time I ever touched it. Ran like crap, stuff kept killing me, everything distracting me from the actual gameplay. Gonna be sticking with Minetest and recommending it over Minecraft. Thanks to you, the community, for making the mods, the textures and all that great stuff that makes this game the one I came back to.

You are aware of the existence of both creative and peaceful modes in minecraft, right? If you consider the building to be the important part of the game, they make it the focus.
But I do agree, thank you everyone involved in Minetest for working on it.
