In the 'Export' dialog should be an 'Animation' drop-down box saying None. Change it to 'Keyframes Only'.

What export dialog? I use the built-in DirectX exporter,and the only dialog is the choose file dialog. That ive seen.

I use Blender 2.62.
- Go to File->Export->DirectX.
- In the left side of the file selector, you will see several options.
