I posted a paper i wrote on how minecraft and minetest are different, and the pros and cons for both games, and after a while, a lot of people said minetest was pretty good, but then i saw this in my facebook thed.

U HATR, NOTCH SHULD SUE U FR CPYRIGHT INFINGMENT, DATS A **** GAM, MINECRAF IS BETR, DNT PLAY MINE****

I dont even know how to respond to this. Should I?

Delete the comment from your wall and don't respond.

Got the paper, just not on my current pc, hopefully when i go to my dads place tonight, i can pull it up, its short though, as i just started on it, and i was gonna make it open to you guys, if you want to add anything.

Welp, the guy who posted the hater comment removed it and deleted his profile, or he blocked me, the guys name is rage sandstorm on facebook, and ill see if i got any screencaps of it.

To put it mildly, the hater is a fool. For one, we have copied no textures*. No code has been lifted. No sounds. A recent court ruling stated "Chapter titles, APIs, and lists of information cannot be copyrighted." Ideas can't, either.

Probably a troll. Someone who really is that bad at spelling would call it "piracy" or "stealing" (both of which are misnomers), not copyright infringement.

I believe the proper response might be: "bE;dr (bad English; didn't read)" ;-)
