Minetest On Windows 8?
Posted: Sat Apr 13, 2013 11:14Can minetest 0.4.6 (compiled for Windows) be played on a Windows 8? If so can it be played on Windows 8 tablets or convertibles... For example Windows 8 Surface?

Posted: Sat Apr 13, 2013 11:14Posted: Sat Apr 13, 2013 13:30I don't know about tablets because some of them are using arm (=> you'll have to compile yourself, if it's possible), but I have a friend running minetest on a windows 8 laptop. Though I think windows sucks but that's only my opinion ;)

you can put the folder everywhere which suits you. No installation needed. you've just to start the "minetest.exe" file found inside the folder "..\minetest-0.4.6\bin\".
It´s poping up an window so it has nothing to do with the windows 8 surface at all.
