New install, can't use /msg
Posted: Sun Apr 21, 2013 20:36I am brand new to the minetest/minecraft genre. I just installed a new minetest server at home for my children to experiment with.
I noticed there is an /msg server command to chat with other users. I get an error that /msg command is not available.
I was able to execute other commands listed on the wiki, so I think I understand the interaction with minetest server.
I have the latest version 0.4.6 installed.
Also, I manually started the server on one of my windows 7 desktops in my account. If there are any guides to having a server run without having myself logged in, I would appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll look into installing on a Debian server I have.
