First of all, its Minetest, not Minetest-c55 anymore.

The problem with having a competition is, that it will cause problems when it comes to merging the code upstream. We cant simply throw bad code in.
So the goal of the competition cant be that a certain feature is added upstream.

okay. you need a neatly said idea for a video, or you already have a video and just want a title? i'm ready to participate ;)

Just do what you want. I dont know how a competition for a video can cause any harm.

if talk about FOSS is wrong way anyway. FOSS dont have and cant have any owner. so you may or just use, or if you really want it - make some poll. dont think asking permission from any single person can be ok with FOSS...
