Hello, I posted earlier and you guys were great help.

I have another set of questions though:

What is the difference between 4.5 and 4.6? I got 4.5 just to be safe since 4.6 says its still in beta.

Also can someone please give me a step by step guide to create an online server? I would LOVE to create one. I have a windows 7 gateway if that matters.

Also is there anyway to enable the fly feature on single player? Thanks in advance!

0.4.6 is stable. You must be thinking of the Windows installer, which is beta. 0.4.5 is outdated and might fail to work with certain mods.

Thanks, if I switch to 4.6 will I lose all of my progress on 4.5? Also can someone please tell me how to make an online server?

First of all it's 0.4.5 and 0.4.6
Second well some server don't work on 0.4.5.If you are on singleplayer on 0.4.5 and switch to 0.4.6 make sure you go to /minetest 0.4.5/worlds and copy the world you want and put it on 0.4.6.

The first post actually tells you how to start a multiplayer game (it still creates a server, but then it closes once you stop playing), but I think there's an explanation of how to create a standalone server a few posts down.

When you say it closes do you mean it doesnt save? And thanks guys I really appreciate it.

No, I just mean it closes. Minetest autosaves very frequently. But people can only join your server while it's open, so if you start the server in that way, other people can only play while you're playing.
