Is it possible to spawn chest randomly in the map with stuff inside it?
Make a thirsty and hunger mod?

There already is kaeza's survival mod, which adds hunger. Idk about chests with stuff inside of it though.

The hungry_games game spawns chest on the map randomly

It adds hunger, thirst, and oxygen (drowning in water).

I don't know if it randomly spawns chests, but... there's also the (now broken) DM and Dungeons mod that Celeron made. It's somewhere under his blog at c55.me - might be a few months back. He had randomly generated dungeons and chests (empty, but it can be modfied...
