Material Generation: How do you do it? (screenshots)

So I'm curious how others generate resources (like wood, coal, food, various blocks). Below is a few I do.

Food Generation Underground in the city of Vandery:

Cactus Generation Underground in the city of Vandery:

For coal generation but burn wood. With the above wood generation there's plenty of wood for coal making.
