Tell me what your favorite Minetest version was, and maybe give a few reasons.

For me it was definitely 0.4.4 (I still use it). I think it was when they changed it to '3D players'. I also made most of my maps and mods in that version (Minetest was in 0.4.4 for a long time).

There is no sane reason to not like the latest release of the 0.4 series. It is in constant development and 0.4.7 is superior over all the other 0.4 releases.

Hmm, I can't decide between 0.4.7 or 0.4.4. Both I guess.

I never really know which one I use, I git pull a couple times in a month and never bother with version number ;)
On my system I call it 0.4.dev-git-$(date +%Y%m%d) (sexy, isn't it?)

You'll laugh at this because it was one of the BUGGIEST versions, but I really loved it. Minetest-dev 20120122. I really liked this version because it was when I started my old forgotten hunger games server. It was buggy as hell though.

Edit: it wasn't the features I liked, but more like I got used to it and used it for a long time after the next few versions were out.

0.4.4 - not so much for the client, but for the amount of new mods that came from it.

For the time being, I will say the current development version of Minetest 0.4.7. With it, you not only get more sound effects, but also ones that are better than the previous ones. You also get new additions to the base game like improved 0.3.1 jungles, improved 0.3.1 dungeons, diamonds, coal blocks, desert stone bricks, sandstone bricks, flowers, grass, farming, some texture improvements, and better compatibility with MSVC.

0.4.1, 0.4.7 is bloated as hell
