FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Hi, I'm asking which are the minimum requirements of Minetest, because I can't get it to work.
I'm running it on a Windows XP SP3 with an AMD Sempron Processor 3000+ @ 1.61GHz with 1GB of RAM with a NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 with 256MB graphics card, and I have Microsoft Visual C++ Redist. 2010.
