Why are the maximum avatar sizes only 60x60?
Why doesnt a moderator or somebody change it to at least 100x100?

I don't think that this is important for us... We should focus on the game, not on the forums settings...

Whats the benefit from it? More distracting colorful pictures?

Being someone who loves to work with textures I'd say 64x64 would make sense.

I think avatars should be disabled. They don't contribute to discussion and only distract from the text.

They're useful to remember specific persons.

If we had bigger avatars, the website load would go up, the website loading speed goes downwards, people bitching because the forums are too slow; meaning we go back to the 60^2 limit again.

ugh, check this forum, it has 100x100 avatars too and hell of a lot users...

There are still too many people out there with a slow connection. For them, every saved kb counts! Some months ago, I had a connection with 40 kb/s and that was horrible. We don't need bigger avatars. This is not a forum about avatars à la "who has the most beautiful one" but a game forum. So I say again: No, 60x60 is ok.

As a moderator, I can't delete user accounts, only ban them. You may wish to ask thexyz (xyz on forums) or celeron55.
