FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Is it possible to have to remove the version number in the top left hand corner of the screen ? its useful for devs and to figure out your version but its a little annoying. I thought it would be removable but cant find an option.

That will be when Minetest is stable. It is not now, so enjoy the little random numbers for as long as you can. Cause when Minetest will be stable you might miss em.

It hasn't been able to be removed since I started back in 2011, but I think it differentiates the game a bit.

However, that doesn't stop you (or anyone else) to make a patch to the engine to disable it from either in-game or via the conf.

F1 + F2 (+ F5 to disable debug info if enabled) disables it.
