Few questions about minetest

Hello, I'm looking to start a series for youtube on minetest just hearing about it today, I think it'd be a great game for YouTube, Not many people know or play it so i think it'd be a good series thing. But forgive me if i sound paranoid but, Is this game like Illegal? Will i be able to start a series on it without getting flagged or something? Only reason i ask is because i really want to start a gaming channel with this!

No, the game is not illegal. That doesn't mean that the video will get flagged though, as Minecraft fanboys are known to go crazy when someone has something that looks remotely like Minecraft. I bet they would sue lego if they got the chance. If people harass you about it, just tell them about the code differences, the open-source, the modding, etc.
