Malware in test.mine.bz?

by Roflo » Sat Jan 14, 2012 23:18

To whomever is the sysadmin for http://test.mine.bz/, FYI:

I checked the Wiki using Google Chrome today and it says it may have been infected with malware.

A diagnostic page was provided:
http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=http%3A%2F%2Ftest.mine.bz%2F&client=googlechrome&hl=en-US

Hope this helps..
-R

PS - To everybody else.. just don't panic... We can't yet tell if there really is some malware.
Unless otherwise specified: I use linux and run (and compile) the latest dev.

this happened to me to notice how it says "Of the 9 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 0 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent." as long as it says 0 there is no issue i guess something is up though

If you can think it, you can make it.

I got a warning when I went to the main site in Google Chrome. It says the site hosts malware and has infected 1 other site. I only got the warning for the main site, and I haven't been affected by anything. Probably just a bug in Google's malware algorithm.

That is for mine.bz (or whatever.mine.bz); not test.mine.bz, which is the only subdomain I use.

Yeah, .bz domains are sometimes related to websites providing malwares. In this case, it's Google's fault.
Not here for a while due to some troubles between my graphic card and Minetest.
