Mapgen and special things?

Hello,

I wondered if there are some mods or default-functions to make:

1) Very high and big moutains (> 100m)
2) Natural lakes abrove 0m
3) Multiple *platforms* to build on in one world, like one at 20000m, 0m, -20000m and each has a deep underground. They also shouldn't throw shadows "down", so the -20000m "world" would have light too.

Haven't found anything to this - yet.
Help!

As Hybrid Dog already mentioned, the mount meru mod does that. Such a mountain can be found on the Landrush server.

I don't know of any mod that does that yet. Perhaps one that creates rivers?

Afaik that's in development for the main game/engine.

If you're looking for terrain modifications, just take a look at all topics by paramat. He has written lots of mods that do amazing things to terrain!

Mountains up to ~100.

You could also search for LandUp on the forum. That was a very good mod. Someone needs to rewrite it with the LuaVM.

That someone is me =)
That was my first original mod almost a year ago and i've improved so much since then, it needs rewriting to use a new method that does not require pre-generation of upper chunks.

indev mapgen in far lands ( /teleport 30000,0,30000) have up to 500 mountains.
And float islands at top ( /teleport 0,30000,0)
And HUGE caves at bottom ( /teleport 30000,-30000,30000)
