FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Hello guys as my old server is now closed down MineRealms I'm thinking about setting up my own server, what is the recommended hardware i would need to run a server, wouldn't contain alot of players, as would mostly be old players off that server so im guessing only about 15 at max, any input would be great thankyou :)
