Why facebook? Free users should use diaspora (maybe it will be a reason for me to try it :)

There's already a Facebook group here and a page (not updated) here. Personally, I think a page would be more useful than a group for publicity purposes.

okay message understood.....

if there is already groups in facebook, i will close this, cause its better to concentrate in one location.

diaspora or facebook ??? no question ....if ...then both locations, just my opinion was, that facebook is bigger and so more ppl could get information abt minetest.

update:
jesus....how can i close a group in facebook ????

diaspora or facebook???

They are a bit different. Diaspora doesn't have groups, it's more similar to tags like in twitter and statusnet. Jacebook is used by normal people and diaspora by freedom fans.
BTW, maybe anyone would make an account in identi.ca and post news about minetest updates? I can do that myself, but maybe anybody can do it better.

Assuming you're the creator of the group:

If you created the group, you can delete the group by removing all members and then yourself. To remove members, click "See All" in the Members section on the right side of the group and then use the "X" next to each member's name.

Note that if you were not the first admin and creator of this group, you will not be able to delete the group unless the group creator has left it voluntarily.
