Posted: Sat Feb 04, 2012 01:32Posted: Sat Feb 04, 2012 02:18You can't get water or lava blocks without "cheating", so use a bucket to pick up / place water or lava. To get a water or lava block, besides creative mode, use the command "/giveme default:water_source 1" (change "water" to "lava" to get lava, change "1" to another number to receive more).

0.4 isn't a stable release, and it's a newer version, obviously.
