Okay Jungle grass is useless as fuel so what creative things can be done with jungle grass?

Here is my submission...


Back is a Poplar tree made of 2 fence posts stacked. The tree is built with 5-9-5-5-1-1. (5's is a '+' with 9 as 3x3)

The right shrub is 5,5,1,1. The left is simple 2 stack with plain jungle grass in foreground.

Just put in a double row of these 'popular trees' with cobble stone walkway. Along with normal trees already I had planted, they work to about the same height.

What makes it more awesome is that stacking jungle grass that it looks like the leaves are moving even if you move even the slightest. Found that out when I built a wall of jungle grass.

The fence post for tree trunks worked well. Regular tree trunk would have over powered the whole balance of the tree.

I'm trying various things and not really building anything specific ... like backlighting rockface. However it doesn't work well for inside a structure.

The block house just doesn't cut it.

A hidden passage way.. not liking the low rez texture. Not really sold on alternative textures because the view is not the same with others who have different texture packs.

Yeah, I couldn't get on earlier.

I downloaded the latest 0.4 dev and tried my poplar tree. I'm not liking the change in graphics but the constructed tree still looks good under 0.4

Manage to wow a couple of people on Gameboom server. Still I'm surprized that others haven't taken up the challenge.

I use to chop down Jungle Grass and burn it. Now I'll travel far just to get more.

Even if you use my pattern for poplar tree, post them here. Try something new.
