How to find default textures?

So I have attempted to make a texture pack before, but lost interest. But now I want to do it again. So upon starting this project I could not find where the default textures where. Can someone please tell me?

P.S. Im using Linux if that matters

/minetestfolder/games/minetest_game/all_mods/textures
That's where the textures reside. The textures are found in the mod folders inside minetest_game.
