The wait is finally over the HD texture pick is finally availiable for download. Here is the link:

Credits:
Textures are from CG Textures
Images are from Google Images
Skins are by me.

Known Bugs:
grass_side has a little bit of transparency.

Nice Work Stormrider2! I especially like the wood. I don't like the torches so much though (Cisoun's lantern style for the hanging torches is my fave). The grass looks nice except for the transparency.

Bug report: When I installed it by itself, my client crashed (Seg fault) with a bunch of "texture not found" errors. When I copied some extra image files from Cisoun's pack then it worked fine.

I see your problem Benjamin. The textures need to be converted to .png files. I am going to find or make better torches and I am going to find a way to make the transparency on the grass_side to go away. After all that is done, I am going to release an update.

This is a notice that an update is coming soon. Texture not found errors will be fixed along with new torches and rats. Mese blocks will look unique. I will be making a new sign. Glass will look more crystallized. Have to figure out the cloud texture though. Thank you for your patience and when the update is done I will upload it.

Update to the texture pack

This update contains a number of fixes:
1. Fixed texture not found errors.
2. Fixed underlining of the torches and players.
3. Coal and iron minerals now show up.
4. Fixed transparency in the grass side.

New stuff
1. Complete overhaul of the texture pack.
2. Glass looks like a window.
3. Cobble looks more rounded.
4. Mud looks like dirt.
5. New furnace.

If the texture pack hasn't the texture, it will use the default texture (or from another pack if you installed on top of another pack)

Or if the Texture isn't Available at all it will Default use the Cloud.png which actually changes Colours every time you load up the map.

do i install this texture pack by putting all the texture packs images in my texture folder or do i put the whole hd textures folder into my texture folder. Please help someone

this texture pack does not seem to be for 0.4. You have to rename the images to make it work.

you can install client texture packs by putting the images into minetest/textures/all/
