FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Ok but I Have Linux Mint 12 i tried to do the data in /home/brandon/.minetest
it would not show up i tried to put it in
/home/brandon/.minetese/textures
nope HELP!!! Please Thank You In Advance

you compile client itself or setup through ppa?

i got it fixed from the help from peaple at irc thank you guys
