FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

What do you guys think about a "Cartoon" texture pack? I was thinking that I could do apples with cute faces and "talking trees"(which are trees with faces and bodies!) plus other stuff... any ideas?

Make everything a little humorous. Use bright colors. Make grass neon green. Make leaves bright green. Just use bright colors and simple cartoonistic ideas and it'll be awesome

exactly dont make it to where looking at it so much my eyes want to throw up but make it a mix of brightness and pixelated cartoon style

What would people rather play "cartoonish" or like an amazzing "candy land" i know it sounds kiddish but it would be fun to make!

Cartoonish. I don't think I would be able to figure out half the things if it were candy themed...

Maybe take some inspiration from Adventure Time, Ooo is bright but not eye-vomitingly so.
