Wool textures are not ALL THERE.

Downloaded it, turns out, grass is grey, but the ones you have is green so, I will need both to do this.

Working on the blocks as I speak. Done around 25%.

I use the latest stable 0.4 (from minetest ultimate by Sfan5)

Ah, thank you, I too am using this version. So my abilities are even better. Found a way to give leaves colour.

when bringing an mc texture pack to minetest how do you go about coloring the grass or leaves when they are grey?
im curious because thats what I need to do to play with my converted pack and its holding me back.

You can color the grass/grass side/leaves using GIMP. Try to use a fairly dark (don't hurt people's eyes :D), green, not too saturated color (like in Minecraft). Put the grass side texture on top of the dirt texture, then color it (please don't use a transparent grass_side texture, it bugs a lot).

Hello, I am leading development on the soartex Fanver texture pack and want to clear a few things up for you guys. Consider this permission to redistribute all of the textures in Fanver, but only for Minetest. You may not add an adf.ly link to it, that wouldn't be fair to the community.

I am not very familiar with minetest, but Stef, using the decorative menu backgrounds to recreate soartex is hilarious. That has to be the hardest way to convert this pack. Download soartex from here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/824150-64x125-12w18-pe-soartex-fanver/

If you want the green grass, pick the green grass in the customizer. The green grass in the customizer was made by soar, the original author of soartex. There is also a version of the jungle leaves in their original green color. I can recolor the rest of the leaves myself if you need help with that.

If there are any textures in Minetest that are not in Minecraft vanilla, let me know. Soartex has a massive gallery of textures for mods, and I'm sure those could fill in any gaps.

EDIT @Jordach: I am not interested in taking on this project myself. I am more than busy with Minecraft soartex development. I would be thrilled if you kept up your work on this! The point of this post was to give permission and give a few pointers.

Getting round to it now: just do items and few blocks then its ready. No mod support.
