A hello to the community, and a gift from me to all. [32x WTP]

Hello all, I have been playing Minetest for a long time, and trying to learn all the modding stuff even more,
so I wanted to try to contribute to the community with my first post.

Long ago, I started a texture pack for minecraft. It got to around 25% complete, but I had trouble. I worked on and off on this pack.
When I started playing Minetest, I was inspired to finish it. Since then, I have come very far from my weak pixel skills from when I started. So I present a pack that I hope will eventually be ported from here to minecraft, rather than the other way around ;)

Without further rambling, let me present a few screenshots:

And without further ado, here is the download link: WazuTexturePack

And if you want to support me and my colleagues, an adfly link:http://adf.ly/AMfsd

I made it in mod format so all you need to do is throw it in your mods folder, included a readme saying basically the same thing as well.

I hope you all enjoy it!

(UPDATE 08-19-12)
Added sprites for the wools and dyes.

I haven't tried it yet (I don't play minetest a lot, even less do I use custom texture packs), but the screenshots looks nice!

Hi,

I downloaded the mod, (It looks great btw :) ) and opened Minetest, but when I did, the colors were all messed up, and inverted. Any ideas?

Thanks :)

Awesome pack man. Btw everyone this isn't a mod. This is a texture pack.

@confused: I have no idea why that would happen, all this does is add new textures that replace the defaults. Could you send a screen shot?

@sjts95 and InfinityProject: Thanks! I made it using mod format because I figured this way it would be easier to install, and because then people could swap a few of my textures for others by either removing the texture, or editing the depends.txt of another pack to load over mine.

I don't know if they would be used for that, as those are optimized for lower end computers, while mine double their resolution to 32x32, but it would be amazing if they were! Great to hear the player skin worked out, it has to be the most complicated thing I have ever sprited lol :D

So Im still kind of new to grasping the concept of mods for windows 7. Recently switched from Linux Mint. I have my mods folder open and my game running in a seperate window. I download the file as a zip, unzip it and move into mods. Then when I try to play in 0.4.1 it gives me error messages. x.x

Tried the same concept in textures just incase, but its still giving me a hard time. Like I said i'm still getting the hang of it, but any advice helps n.n <3

I answered my own question after messing around with it a little bit. I had to move the files that downloaded with the folder back into the folder where the images were. My computer kept saying it couldnt run lua script, but once it started up the graphics were awesome. Thanks for the texture pack <3
