Let's face it, there are a lot of texture packs out there, and they all have some good textures and some not so good textures in them. So I cherry picked the best out of the best texture packs. I also tweaked some textures and created some of my own where I couldn't find any good ones. Since I went through the trouble, I figured I'd share it with everyone else: Neuromancer's Uber Texture Pack. Let me know what you like and what you don't like. These are for the most part 64x64 textures. I tend to dislike textures that look noisy from far away (see Misa's grass).

Installation instructions:
0.3 version-specific:
- Make a backup of the "data" folder in your Minetest's installation folder.
- Extract the .zip, then drag the files in the data folder. Replace all the files.
0.4 version-specific:
- Extract the .zip, then put the "textures" folder in your Minetest's installation folder.

Has support for all the base textures, MoreOres, 3d Forniture, and Animated Fluids Mod.

Version 0.4 Improved flowers 3dforniture papyrus, trees

O_o it looks weird with different resolutions... some of the textures are 16x16 and some 64x64. You should probably use Soartex's grass, it looks nice, definitely. ;)

I agree it would be best to have all 64x64 res. I definitely like Soartex grass better than Misa's grass, because Misa's looks too noisy when you are flying. The problem with Soartex is that it is too uniform, it looks cartoony or astroturfy. It needs some yellowish green mixed in with it or something to make it look a little more real. Also on the sides the grass really looks cartoony when you are close up.

Grass is the most critical texture because there is so much of it. I also need to find a good 64x64 gravel and waterlilly.

Alright Calinou, I couldn't stand the color or texture of Soartex grass, so I tweaked it a bit. I think I have achieved Texture pack nirvana. I re-uploaded and re-did the link in the first post. Try out the new grass in Ver 0.3 and tell me what you think. ;)
