Minecraft packs can be converted, but you have to ask the author's permission first.

It would be better if someone made a texture pack similar to this instead of converting it.
Because there is many texture pack idea's that we could make for minetest instead of converting ones from minecraft :)

I use ImageShack to post screenshots, but I haven't really tried anything else.

I use Dropbox and that's simple to use :)
